Winging It Newsletter

Winging It, edited by Bill Maynard, is an informal newsletter that keeps American Birding Association members up to date with news about birds and birding in North American and the world.

Since its inauguration as a regular publication in 1989, Winging It has expanded from its initial eight pages to a regular 24 pages, featuring current events, regular summaries of RBAs throughout North America, and detailed site-guides to the most interesting localities (and most sought-after species) in American birding.

As a membership publication, Winging It depends on its readers for a steady flow of bird-finding notes and articles, thoughtful letters to the editor, and other publishable material of wide and timely interest. Please e-mail your suggestions, comments, and submissions to the editor at winging@aba.org.

Winging It also includes an extensive classified-ad section, the most convenient and most productive way to reach the active birding community. Non-business ads are free to ABA members; members may also place business classifieds at a rate of $50 per insertion. Ads, inquiries, and payment information should be submitted to advert@aba.org.
