Special thanks is extended to the staff of the Northwest Campus of the University of Alaska at Fairbanks who graciously let our group utilize their indoor campus facilities, the Nome Convention and Visitors Bureau for a variety of assistances provided, and to Peter Bente, wildlife biologist with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, whose companionship and local expertise were most appreciated by all in attendance.
