  • Bird biographies by Arthur Cleveland Bent and collaborators from the classic Life Histories of North American Birds (1919-1968) -- an on-line e-book
  • Digiscoping Stephen Moniotte's provides info on technical aspects, a compilation of tips and tricks, links, photo gallery
  • Lyme Disease in the United States and Canada This serious bacterial infection caused by a tick bite is one that concerns many birders. Website by Art Doherty contains extensive information with a page for each state or province that includes Federal government, state, and county updates, state statutes, US Army risk assessment, media articles, medical and scientific abstracts, patient support groups, and other resources
  • Ornifolks is a network of birders who share trip expenses to bird distant places as economically as possible. The goal of Ornifolks is to enable members to visit international birding areas safely and affordably. Their website has information on past and future trips and a dozen trip reports.
  • Ornithological Artist Registry is a resource for researchers seeking original art to accompany their publications. The registry aims to encourage the creation of great, biologically informative bird art, to expand the publication and exhibition of high-end images, and to broaden the audience interested in learning about advances in bird biology and challenges to conservation efforts.
  • Updating the National Geographic Society Field Guide to the Birds of North America. Website by Chris Moellering with a listing of changes and errata for the third edition of the NGS Guide in relation to the AOU checklist and supplement.
